Wow, it's been a while - again!
My daughter returned to University in Birmingham last weekend. She's now in her third year there and I'm finally beginning to get used to letting her go. It always seems very strange the first week she goes back after the summer though. I get used to having her around for three months of the year and miss her dearly once she disappears back up to Brum but I'm slowly adjusting to it just being me and Ian again. No more wall to wall Desperate Housewives or America's next top model and definitely no repeat episodes of Friends to wind me up! I've never purposely sat down to watch Friends - it doesn't appeal to me on any level whatsoever, yet it sometimes feels as though I've watched every single episode at least five times over when El's around!
