I'm currently laid up with the flu so have spent the morning teaching myself to wrap text around an image courtesy of one of the many tutorials over on YouTube. Unfortunately I don't own a macro lens so the close up isn't one of my own photos, but is one that's kindly been added to a creative commons group over on flickr;

ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon, I had swine flu then because I didn't look after myself it became pneumonia earlier this year, still not fully fit, so look after yourself.

Man I admire anyone who can master the intricacies of that photos stuff. I lose my will to live after about 5 minutes of fiddling with the stuff. Looks very cool.

The frustrated (and utterly inept!) artist in me decided one day that seeing as I wasn't much good at painting, I was going to teach myself to produce images using a different medium. A couple of years on and I'm still learning, and get a kick out of being able to master different techniques - the beauty of photoshop is there's no one right way of working, which suits my haphazard approach to things beautifully! Plus you can just delete a layer if you don't like what you've done rather than losing the whole body of work when you cock things up!
.............which I do, quite frequently :-P
