Feeling Creative - 2nd Post in One Day!

I'm currently laid up with the flu so have spent the morning teaching myself to wrap text around an image courtesy of one of the many tutorials over on YouTube. Unfortunately I don't own a macro lens so the close up isn't one of my own photos, but is one that's kindly been added to a creative commons group over on flickr;

  1. This is absolutely beautiful! I just love the colours... Anyway, sorry to hear you're feeling poorly. Nothing worse than flu :( Hope you're feeling better soon!

  3. I think the text wrap is great, it works so well with that image! Very fitting, dandelion clocks, time and the transcience of nature, human or otherwise...
    Hope you're feeling better soon, flu isn't funny is it... :)

  4. Thanks, as always for all the kind comments - I'm feeling a little better now thanks to copious amounts of Lemsip and Nightnurse!

  5. Hope you feel better soon, I had swine flu then because I didn't look after myself it became pneumonia earlier this year, still not fully fit, so look after yourself.

    BTW I love that image and the lettering, would make a fabulous large canvas print for a sizeable wall.

    Happy Birthday for the 3rd

  6. Man I admire anyone who can master the intricacies of that photos stuff. I lose my will to live after about 5 minutes of fiddling with the stuff. Looks very cool.

  7. @TheWessexReiver - Oh heck, swine flu is seriously nasty, fortunately mine was only a female variation of manflu I think! Take care of you and many thanks for the birthday wishes :-)

    @Pam - Thank you! The frustrated (and utterly inept!) artist in me decided one day that seeing as I wasn't much good at painting, I was going to teach myself to produce images using a different medium. A couple of years on and I'm still learning, and get a kick out of being able to master different techniques - the beauty of photoshop is there's no one right way of working, which suits my haphazard approach to things beautifully! Plus you can just delete a layer if you don't like what you've done rather than losing the whole body of work when you cock things up!
