Two for Tuesday

Thistles..

And Mistletoe...

Photos my own, textures a mixture of my own and from Shadowhouse Creations.

Thanks to all who commented on my last post. I've kind of come to the conclusion that I've nothing to lose by giving Etsy a go, even though I quake in my boots at the thought of actually trying to sell some of my images. I've never been much good at self promotion so it'll be a big learning curve for me and perhaps something of an adventure too. Pushing the proverbial envelope and hoisting me out of my comfort zone as it were.

Unfortunately it seems that 'The Thin Reflections Spin' is a tad too long a title for a shop on Etsy but having thought things through a little more I decided I really do like it as an umberella under which to promote my work - after all, what are photos if not reflections of moments in time? And by twiddling and tweaking things in photoshop am I not putting a bit of a spin on otherwise ordinary images? Hmm okay, that really is something of a tenuous thought process, but I found that by ditching the 'The' bit I just managed to scrap by on the letter count so I'm now the proud owner of a currently empty Etsy shop entitled 'Thin Reflections Spin.' Oh and I also 'bags'd' Ogham Moon while I was there, just as a precaution in case I change my mind!
