More Faffing..

Three of my recent 'faffs.' The first is, believe it or not, a photo I took of a municiple tower (water perhaps?) we discovered by the side of some random carpark in Cornwall a couple of years back. There was a big sign to the side of it stating what it was, but I foolishly didn't take a photo of that because, obviously, it wasn't nearly romantic enough! Doh! Anyway, I downloaded some free software over the weekend (Dreamysuite bonus effect for those interested)so was dabbling around with its blur/ghosting effect which resulted in this;



and this random image, ala Jonathan Livingstone Seagull, I took of a gull on the same holiday;



Back to an old favourite for the last image, dabbling again with sepia effects, this time on one of the beautiful windows of Highcliff Castle, a wonderfully romantic Victorian castle, now open for weddings etc, down in Dorset. Unfortunately, when we visited, there was a wedding reception in full swing, so I didn't get chance to photograph as much as I'd have liked, but the serenity of the statue in this window appealed to me greatly.



I had to distort this a little to get the perspective right as I'd photographed it at something of an angle, but hopefully if it doesn't look too weird, it might be a photo I decide to sell in my phantom Etsy shop that I really must get around to setting up!
