Building Tree Tops

I'm actually quite proud of myself on this one. Not because I think my photo of the ruins of Scotney Castle is particularly remarkable; more because I've managed to reconstruct the top of the tree and the sky above, which in my original photo, I'd managed to lop off. I 'think' I've almost managed to get away with it, although if you click on the image and look very closely you'll see the leaves aren't quite as sharply defined as those below....ahh well, I'll know better next time!

Photo - from my own resources.

Texture - courtesy of Shadowhouse Creations.

  1. What an ethereal masterpiece! You did a great job fixing the tree. I would never have guessed.

  2. Lovely! The texture you've used makes it look like an old watercolour on heavy grained paper... very effective...

  3. Thank you all. Shadowhouse Creations provides such lovely textures, they can't help but improve the look of even the most mundane photo. I'm going to have to start making a few of my own textures though, that way everything really will be 'all my own work.' :-)
