William Morris. A hero of mine since my early teens. I was going to play about with this image some more, but think I quite like it left as it is for now. I may play with it again some other time, or I might finally bite the bullet and try using it as an image to transfer onto polymer clay. I wittered on about wanting to try doing that a few blogs ago, but as yet, haven't given it a go. Grown up mindset stuff again I think!
For the pureists out there, the waistcoat and background pattern is taken from Morris' Bullerswood Carpet, hand knotted with woollen pile circa 1889. Or so the V&A museum says! Both images courtesy of Wikimedia.
I love it just as it is. Don't change a thing.

Thanks Cenya. I figured Mr Morris' work was decorative enough to speak for itself on this one!
